In this mommy makeover testimonial, Bridget Hughes explains that she wanted to restore her body after giving birth to twins. She heard about Dr. Fisher from her mother, and decided to pursue a mommy makeover to correct her stretched stomach skin. Dr. Fisher was able to help her achieve her goals, even considering the diastasis she experienced, tearing her muscles in the course of pregnancy.
My name is Bridget Hughes and my mom had previously used Dr. Fisher and so I heard really good things about him. I was really insecure about my stomach. I'd had twins. I'd started out at 98 pounds. When I got pregnant, I delivered at 163 pounds, literally all in my stomach.
So the skin was stretched out. I didn't get stretch marks, very luckily, thank goodness. But the skin was just so stretched and it looked like crepe paper. And then, what ended up happening was I got diastasis so the muscles tore so when everything started going back, my stomach just kind of hung because there was no muscle to keep it in place.
And then I went ahead and had my third child and anything that was left hanging on there just fell apart. And my stomach just was
it looked like just a hanging skin mess. And it was awful because the rest of me was fit. But then I had this stomach that just hung. And I constantly had to wear flowy shirts to cover it. I could never wear a t-shirt like this.
So I came in, had a consultation with him, loved him immediately. I felt immediately at ease with him. He was very honest. He just wanted to do exactly what he thought I needed, nothing extra, which I loved. And he's very comforting and so he talked to me about the surgery, warned me about all the things that people say, prior experience, kind of give me a heads up. You know, I'll be kind of, for about a month, very slow moving, take it easy. And now I have my old body back and it just feels so good, just to feel comfortable again. And, I mean, it's amazing.
